GBI is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment across all its programmes and events. All participants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

• Any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, defamation, or disruptive behaviour whether in person or online is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the programme without refund.
• Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the host country during in-person events.
• Participants must follow all instructions issued by GBI staff, facilitators, and event management personnel.
• Participants must not misrepresent their affiliation with GBI, claim authority they do not possess, or act in ways that could damage GBI’s reputation.
• Any disputes between participants should be raised with GBI staff promptly and resolved through GBI’s internal process.

GBI reserves the right to remove any participant from a programme at any time, at its sole discretion, where conduct is deemed inappropriate, harmful, or in violation of these Terms.

GBI reserves the right to modify, reschedule, relocate, or cancel any programme, conference, forum, or event at its sole discretion. This may occur due to circumstances beyond GBI’s reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, geopolitical events, public health emergencies, venue issues, or insufficient participation.

• GBI will endeavour to provide as much advance notice as practicable in the event of significant changes to a scheduled programme.
• Changes to speakers, agenda, format, or venue do not constitute grounds for refund unless the event itself is cancelled in full.
• In the case of force majeure events, GBI shall not be liable for any loss, cost, or inconvenience arising from cancellation or modification, beyond the refund of applicable participation fees.
• GBI may transition in-person events to virtual or hybrid formats where required, without this constituting a cancellation.

All content, materials, branding, designs, reports, publications, curricula, and programme materials produced by or on behalf of GBI are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of Global Bridge Initiative CIC, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Participants may not reproduce, distribute, publish, translate, or adapt GBI materials in whole or in part without prior written consent from GBI.
• Speakers and contributors to GBI programmes retain ownership of their own original content, but grant GBI a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, share, and publish that content for programme and promotional purposes.
• Any materials co-created during GBI workshops or collaborative sessions may be subject to shared intellectual property arrangements as set out in programme-specific documentation.
• The GBI name, logo, and associated marks may not be used without explicit written authorisation from GBI.

By attending a GBI event or programme, participants acknowledge that photography, audio recording, and video recording may take place during sessions and activities. GBI and its designated media partners may capture and use such recordings for documentary, promotional, educational, and communications purposes.

• Participants grant GBI a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use their image, voice, and likeness in recordings taken at GBI events for the purposes outlined above.
• Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify GBI staff in writing prior to the event. GBI will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, but cannot guarantee full exclusion from all recordings.
• Participants must not record or photograph other attendees, speakers, or GBI personnel without their express consent.
• Any content captured at GBI events posted publicly by participants must not misrepresent GBI or its programmes.

GBI collects personal information from participants solely for the purposes of programme administration, communication, and the delivery of its services. GBI is committed to handling personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

• Data collected may include your name, contact details, professional affiliation, nationality, and payment information.
• Purpose of use: Data is used to process registrations, communicate programme information, issue certificates, and improve future events.
• Third-party sharing: GBI does not sell personal data. Limited data may be shared with co-organising partners or event platforms strictly for programme delivery purposes.
• Retention: Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
• Your rights: Participants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting GBI at the email address below.

By registering, participants consent to the collection and use of their data as described. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy available on the GBI website.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Global Bridge Initiative CIC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from participation in, or inability to participate in, any GBI programme or event.

• GBI is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property before, during, or after a GBI event.
• GBI is not liable for any personal injury sustained at a GBI event unless caused by GBI’s proven negligence.
• GBI accepts no responsibility for participants’ failure to obtain appropriate travel documents, visas, vaccinations, or insurance.
• GBI is not responsible for the actions, representations, or omissions of third-party speakers, sponsors, partners, or vendors associated with its events.
• GBI’s total aggregate liability to any participant shall in no event exceed the amount of the participation fee paid by that participant for the relevant programme.
